These are my Ancestors- They lived mostly in Cambria co., Blair co,  

Clearfield Co., and Indiana Co,  Pennsylvania

My Grandfather was DAVID GILBERT HOLLIS, he went by the name Gilbert most of his 

life , he was the son of DAVID HOLLIS And ANNE ELIZABETH KESSLER... My Grandmother 

was BESSIE BEERS, daughter of SAMUEL BEERS and SARAH ELIZABETH TROXELL.  Their home 

was in Fallentimber, Reade Twp.,  Cambria co., PA. My Grandfather's second wife was 

DORA( HOLLEN)  McQUINN daughter of CYRUS HOLLEN and SARAH McMANAMY, of the HOLLEN family 

of White twp, Cambria co., PA. She was married before to JAMES DANIEL McQUINN, left a wodow with 

two daughters, Irene and Florence.  She was the only Garndmother I knew.



I have started my genealogy with my Mother- HELEN  HOLLIS LIVINGS  

These families are my direct ancestors and all the people, who were married to them and also their 

families
